Corran is human, from the fiftieth century. Tempest recovered him unconscious from a failing crossing between realities. His knowledge and practical skills remain; the names, relationships and events of his earlier life do not. The faces in his memory belong to people he may once have known.
Tempest is an intelligent ship with her own judgment, capable of travelling through time, space and parallel dimensions. Corran chooses to stay aboard and follow the surviving clues to his past. He does not yet know why she came for him.
Begin with First Breach
Begin at the Convergence and follow the chapters in order. Ava joins the journey in this first book; the travelling company grows and changes as the story unfolds. No background reading is required.

What kind of stories are these?
Cosmic mysteries, historical danger and political intrigue sit alongside wit, desire and life aboard Tempest. Corran’s curiosity and charm can win trust, but his judgment can fail. Violence, coercion and damaged relationships leave consequences that a departure cannot settle.
For mature readers. Contains mature themes and non-graphic intimacy. The stories speak candidly about desire and relationships. Intimate acts take place off-page. Expect strong language and violence, with warmth and wonder alongside the darker material. Book 5 onward takes a more intense adult direction. The reader advisory at the foot of each page describes the wider range of sensitive themes.
